01 / UNDERSTANDING YOUR CARE
A clearer picture.
Bladder and testicular concerns need assessment before treatment decisions are made. Tell your doctor about visible blood in urine, a lump or other changes and when they began.
Tests and treatment options depend on the findings. If cancer has already been diagnosed, bring the pathology reports, scan images and details of any previous treatment.
A consultation with Dr. Md Taquedis Noori can help you discuss the next steps, questions for the treating team and follow-up. Confirm specialist services and procedure availability before planning treatment.
Seek prompt medical assessment for visible blood in urine or a new testicular lump. Sudden severe testicular pain needs urgent medical attention.
What to discuss with your doctor.
- Painless visible blood in urine (hematuria), often with clots
- Increased frequency, urgency, or painful urination without bacterial infection
- Firm, painless swelling or lump in either testicle
- Feeling of heaviness in the scrotum or dull ache in the lower abdomen or groin
- Enlargement or tenderness of male breast tissue (gynecomastia) in testicular cancer
Care options explained.
Your doctor will discuss which options fit your assessment.
TURBT (Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor)
Complete endoscopic resection of bladder tumor down to the detrusor muscle layer for diagnostic pathology and primary treatment.
Intravesical BCG / Chemotherapy Instillation
Immunotherapy instilled directly into the bladder to prevent tumor recurrence and stage progression in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
Radical Cystectomy & Reconstructive Urinary Diversion
Surgical excision of the cancerous bladder followed by ileal conduit or orthotopic neobladder creation for muscle-invasive disease.
High Inguinal Orchidectomy
Safe surgical removal of the affected testicle through a groin incision, strictly avoiding scrotal violation, with tumor marker monitoring (AFP, beta-hCG, LDH).
Before your consultation.
- Bring previous urine cytology or diagnostic cystoscopy reports
- Carry contrast-enhanced CT or MRI scans of the abdomen and pelvis
- For testicular lumps, carry high-resolution scrotal ultrasound and serum tumor markers
